Yosemite Valley

Perfect natural beauty. This shot was taken with my trusty Nikon D70s. After the heavy snowfall, we'd been trapped in the valley with all the roads out closed by police. This gave us a lot of time to capture what is one of my favourite views of this incredible region. And yes, I did have Ansel Adams in mind when i shot this :-)

Moon Ride Over Cusco

High over the cathedral in the centre of Cusco Peru the full moon rose and the shot was too good to miss.

The Blue Ridge - USA

This was our second shoot that we set out on with the new FUJIFILM X-T2. We were specifically shooting into the sun to see how much colour and depth the Fujifilm X-Trans sensor. Needless to say, we're beyond impressed.

Ganges Sunrise

This was a simple shot, without any filters on the lens, as we headed back from our morning on the Ganges. We had risen before sunrise and hired a small rowboat and headed out into the Ganges, to photograph Varanasi come to life as tens of thousands pray at the water's edge. The sunrise had been spectacular, but I like how the light in this shot is diffused by the filth and pollution in the air. Ahhh, India!

Annapurna Himalayas - Nepal

It's hard to wake up every day, see this and not feel humbled and inspired.

New York Lights

Looking to capture a different view of New York at night and the Brooklyn Bridge I climbed up for a better view. The effort was worth it.

Palm Leaf - Mexico

Sometimes the simplest images can convey great shape and colour. Lisa's study of a simple palm leaf is a great example.

Winters View - Wales

The spectacular winter view over teh Aberdovey estuary in Wales at sunset. The distant setting sun illuminating the waters of the estuary was a great way of finishing a recent snowy walk in Wales. Got to love the light.

Morning Mist - Indonesia

On the morning we left the Bromo area, we were up at dawn to pack and beat the morning heat. This shot was taken just before we left and as the sun came off and began to burn off the low mist that hung inside the volcano crater.

Gulf Coast Sunset - USA

Lisa managed to capture this beautiful sunset just before the sun drop below the horizon. The wandering wildlife is a nice added bonus to the glorious colours.
