From a rooftop of our hostel in Pokhara Nepal, I attached my longest lens, a Nikkor 80-400mm and clicked the shutter. This is the uncropped image. I love the foreground and homes because they give perspective to the epic scale of this incredible mountain.
Even with great photographic technique, it's hard to capture the scale and beauty of Merida's cathedral. This was a tough shot to take, handheld. I'm delighted with the light and contrast in the image.
Sometimes an image doesn't have to be super sharp or dramatic to be beautiful. The soft pinks make this photo for me. I hope you enjoy it.
