In northern Alaska, we were heading south and pushing hard to stay ahead of the building storm. One look back down the pass had us both pulling over and in spite of the bitter freezing temperatures, pulling out the camera and tripod. Dramatic Alaska at it's most beautiful.
We've waited years to be able to arrange, sail to and finally ride Cuba. In the far west of the country outside of the town of Viñales, we took off the panniers and bags and got lost in the thrill of exploring the Jurassic mountain tracks. An incredible day of riding.
We were trying to find a camp spot when I grabbed this photos as the sun set behind the mountains. The colours were incredible and the light diffused by the humid air and low cloud.
